20th Century Pop Art Poster

This poster provides a unique snapshot of the 20th century. It has been reproduced from original collages that were created to reflect the main social and cultural events of the latter part of the 20th century, as seen predominantly from a British viewpoint. The 20th Century poster depicts a snapshot of the entire century.

The concept behind the creation of these original collages was to demonstrate the specific identity and significance of each decade with images of key events and personalities of the time.

The images within each collage are shown in chronological order, starting from the top left corner and weaving back and forth all the way down to the bottom right. We include, for your reference, a fully documented index that lists all the images and the order in which they occur.
